Prek Description
Mary Klama is the Educational Director and Founder of The First Avenue Montessori School. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Special Education from Trenton State College in New Jersey and has over 30 years of teaching experience. She is certified by the New York American Montessori Society in Montessori Pre-primary ages 3 to 6 and Elementary 6 to 9. Her recent accomplishments include receiving the Advanced Level of the Administrator Credential from the State of Florida and receiving a grant with a focus on multi-cultural studies in the Montessori curriculum ages 3 to 6. She was nominated to be in the Who's Who 2005-2006 Edition.
