Since 1968 when a dedicated group of parents had the vision to become committed to providing quality education in a Montessori setting encouraging students to develop their potential as self-directed learners and as active caring contributing members of society the Amarillo Montessori Academy (originally known as Wee Wisdom Montessori School) has pursued presenting the Montessori method of education to the Texas panhandle. In our current locations at 3806 and 3807 S. Bowie our certified Montessori teachers are serving the families of one hundred and fifteen students ranging in age from six weeks through Kindergarten.
