Child Care Center Description
The Bedford County Early Head Start Center currently serves a total of 20 children and pregnant moms in the Bedford County area. Children receive free medical and dental care, have healthy meals and snacks and enjoy playing indoors/outdoors in a safe setting. Prenatal education and support are provided to the pregnant moms to ensure the health of mom and her baby. Services are also offered to meet the special needs of children with disabilities. Certified staff is on hand with unique teaching strategies that enhance childrens physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.
