Goals for Our Future
- Purchase and install new playground equipment.
- Possible expansion of our program into Kindergarten Care and a new facility.
- Expand our parent education program.
The BCLC staff is qualified in child development skills and possesses the ability to relate positively and openly to children, parents, and other staff members. Our staff is selected according to their personal qualities of warmth and empathy. BCLC has a continuous staff-training program that further develops these qualities and gives the staff specific childcare skills and knowledge that they require.
Our staff meets NAEYC accredication standards, which means we surpass the state required child/staff ratios and education requirements.All staff members have criminal history background checks submitted to the Department of Social and Health Services and have undergone First Aid, CPR, AIDS, HIV, and Blood borne Pathogen trainings.
