The center capacity is 78 children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. The teacher to child ratio meets widely recognized national standards of quality as defined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the PA Department of Public Welfare Child Care Division.
Hours of Operation:
Our center operates Monday through Friday from 6:30am-6:00pm. We offer 3 enrollment options for both Philips employees and community families; 2 days 3 days or 5 days per week. We also offer back up care for Philips and community families if space is available in the classroom.
Program Highlights: Bright Horizons on the Golden Mile opened its doors on Wednesday August 13th 2008. An "open door" policy welcome parents of enrolled children to drop in at any time. The center has been custom-designed to fully meet the child care and educational needs of young children and to maximize learning ensure safety and support teacher supervision. The infant/toddler and twos rooms are especially designed for very young children to explore their world in a stimulation healthy and safe way with quiet spaces for nurturing. Teachers in these programs provide a caring and supportive environment that gently encourages increasing mobility ad exploration. The preschool programs provide the same nurturing and support as well as an exciting environment where children can begin to discover the world around them through language math science art movement and music.
