Thank you for considering Calvary Center School for your child's preschool experience. We are a Christian preschool, and an outreach ministry of Calvary United Methodist Church. We are approved by the Maryland State Board of Education and licensed by the Maryland State Board of Education's Office of Child Care.
Calvary Center School admits students of any race, color, national, or ethnic origin. There is no discrimination in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship, and other school administered programs.
We offer a quality program with an emphasis on Christian principles. Each child is treated as an individual encouraged to grow: socially, intellectually, physically and emotionally in a caring Christian environment. Our curriculum is designed to stimulate and encourage growth of the whole child. Social studies, science, math, art and language art lessons are incorporated on an age appropriate level throughout the week. We also offer weekly: Chapel (Wednesday), Music (Monday and Thursday), and Physical Education (Tuesday and Friday).
Our school year begins the first week of September and ends the first week in June. Our academic program is from 9:00 a.m. to Noon.
Our preschool Director, Marilyn Betz will be happy to meet with you and provide a tour during morning preschool classes. Applications and Tuition Schedules are mailed upon request.
