We have over fifty-years of combined professional experience in early childhood education and care. We have a passion for ensuring that children are nurtured and respected. Our goals are to provide a safe challenging environment in which they may flourish. We provide an in depth curriculum in each of our schools that allow our educators to work individually with each child. Please read our "About Us" page for information on our experience and philosphy.There is no profession in which experience and knowledge is more important than in the care and education of young children. Our Davis location has an area called funtown which resembles a quaint small town with store fronts that are centers in which children are encouraged to use their imagination. They may elect to jump in ballsride around a track through town visit the local grocery or restaurant. We are concerned with the growing challenge of child obesity in our country.We want to reach children at an early age to teach them to respect their bodies and mind.We have created a Fitness and Movement class. Children rotate through this in much the same way as a P.E. class in public school. We use developmental milestones and monitor each individual child to ensure they are working toward their potential. We keep them moving and having fun.We serve nutritious meals and snacks daily. We utilize a sound academic curriculum in Core-Knowledge as well as a Bible-Based Curriculum. We have bible memory verses and stories. Each unit of study includes character development such as respect honor and truth. Children are encouarged to be responsible for the care of their classrooms school and the world in which they live.
We incorporate sensory teaching as we know children learn in different ways.Concepts are woven into each learning area. We make learning child's play.
See the following pages for curriculum details. We start our day in the classrooms with circletime morning prayerthe Pledge of Allegiance and our unit of study concepts. We also say a prayer at meal times.
Cambridge Christian Academies are open 6:30 A.M. to 6:30 P.M. Monday through Friday
year-round. We have five locations in northeast Tarrant county.
