C.A.R.E. Child Development Center is a state licensed facility in operation since 1985. C.A.R.E. CDC operations meet or exceed the minimum standards required by the Department of Human Resources. These standards include guidelines for organization administration staff building and grounds food service nutrition and activities. State and city health fire and licensing offices routinely inspect our center.
No child shall on the basis of race color religious belief national origin or sex be excluded from participation be denied the benefits of or be subjected to discrimination under C.A.R.E. Child Development Center's program. However C.A.R.E. CDC does not have a program available for special needs children. The department of Human Resources defines children with special needs as "children with disabling or limiting conditions which limit participation in the normal activities of the center and which may require additional supervision."
The program is for infants through age five. In addition to the regular program. C.A.R.E. CDC has a private kindergarten program taught by a state certified teacher. Currently C.A.R.E. CDC also provides after school pick-up and care for children through fourth grade who attend Yale Big Springs or Dartmouth Elementary.
