Lori Schlecht graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood from Jamestown College in Jamestown, ND. She taught 6th grade at Sartell Middle School for 10 years. She loved being a part of that fabulous school and working with so many incredible students and staff. The wisdom and experience she gained at her years at SMS have prepared her for this next step in her teaching career. After adopting her youngest son, she decided that she needed to focus on being a mom and took a leave from teaching. Now that her kids are all in school, she is thrilled about getting back into the classroom. She feels extremely grateful that she will be able to mix her strong faith and her passion for teaching together in this setting. Lori says, "These early years are so crucial in a child's life. Helping to mold them and let them shine and grow in their own ways is an honor for me. Not only will our preschool environment prepare them academically and socially for Kindergarten, it will also inspire their faith and help them to learn Godly principles to shape them in their community and in their world." Lori lives with husband, Scott, and their four children, Avalon(14), JP(13), Faithy(12), and Eli (7) in Sartell. She feels so blessed to live in this community and to be a part of her church community at Celebration Lutheran.
