Pre K Description
Centro Mater Foundation's mission is to support the programs of Centro Mater Childcare Services a nonprofit organization providing care education nourishment health services and after school programs to children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Centro Mater was founded in 1968 by Mother Margarita Miranda Otero a member of the Society of the Sacred Heart in response to the needs of exiled Cubans arriving in Miami. She believed children needed care and protection while their parents worked to attain financial independence. Today Centro Mater has 5 accredited centers in Miami-Dade and serves children of every race faith and nationality.
