Prek Description
The Beth Israel Child Development Center (CDC) provides a safe loving and nurturing environment where children learn through play. A strong Jewish environment also fosters awareness and appreciation of our multicultural society. Learning programs are based upon principles of growth and development that provide guidelines for age-appropriate activities suited to the individual needs and abilities of each child.
The Child Development Center was formed in 1989 by Cheryl Cook Jody Cohen Carol Dochen Barbara Gibson Sherri Greenberg Amy Greenspan and Cathy Schechter. With the support of the Sisterhood and its president Barbara Tocker Congregation Beth Israel was able to create a nurturing place for children.
