Pre K Description

Welcome to our wonderful school here in Warner Robins, GA. My name is Tonya Jenson, and I am the preschool director. I have a Bachelor-s Degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as more than 8 years of experience in child care.
Our school strives to create a safe, warm and loving environment for the children, parents, and teachers. We teach our children using the HighReach Learning Curriculum, which is based on years of research of developmentally appropriate activities for each ago group.
We encourage our children, parents, and staff to find enjoyment and learning in everyday experiences. We get involved with the community and try to give back to it as much as we can. We have participated in programs such as the St. Jude Trike-a-Thon and collecting canned food items for our local food banks. Each year we host a Fall Festival, open to the community.
Our school offers programs for children starting from 6 weeks of age. Our Infants classroom uses the Bright Baby curriculum from HighReach, which uses everyday experiences to teach our infants language acquisition, sensory awareness, large and small motor skills, visual tracking, self-help, and much more.
Our Lottery Funded Georgia Pre-K Program operates on a full day for children who turn 4 years old on or before September 1st. Our pre-k curriculum through HighReach Learning provides a unique balance of standards-based on classroom support materials. Family connection components are easy to understand, and our parents look forward to their end of the year ceremony which is celebrated with our families, friends and community supporters.
We have an exciting and enriching Adventure Summer Camp program that includes weekly themes and educational field trips. Summer campers enjoy local venues such as the Museum of Aviation, the local fire station, and the library. We have also had visitors from the Police and Sheriff-s Department, the EMS, and local dental offices. We also have fun field trips that help children build friendships such as the skating rink, the bowling alley, and the movie theatre. We are helping our children build relations that will last a lifetime.
It is my pleasure to be able to work alongside great teachers and have the opportunity to impact so many children and their families. Childcare Network provides the educational foundation for each child to be successful throughout life, with quality curriculum and activities for every age group.
