Hello and welcome to Childcare Network #235. My name is Johnise Davis and I am your school director. I have been in child care for the past 8 years. I have taught in all age groups and I am able to address the developmental needs of all ages of children. I have a Master-s Degree in Education with the Specialization of Technology Leadership. I am also a state approved trainer.
My vision is to create a child-friendly environment that would appeal to children of all ages. The goal is to provide a learning experience that would focus on the whole child (social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual) on a daily basis. By implementing such a vision of a school, we want everyone to feel, safe, and comfortable as if they are in their own home.
The staff and I strive to provide every child in our care the opportunity to learn in an atmosphere conducive to learning. We allow them the opportunity to think independently in order to obtain knowledge for themselves. By us teaching in such a way, it promotes a higher order of thinking skills. Along with the traditional subject matter, we also instill Christian values taught through the Bible and Christian character building.
At the end of the child-s school year, we would have put the child first by implementing a curriculum that is competitive and applicable for today-s society.
