Welcome to Childcare Network #258 here in Lexington, KY! Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Shannon Durrum and I am blessed to be the Director of this incredible school. I am a married mother of two awesome kids, one started Kindergarten this year and one started High School (I know a big gap in ages.) I have been in the child care field for over five years and have been the director here for two of those years. I had previously attended Western Kentucky University and have continued my education through Bluegrass Community and Technical College to achieve my Child Development and Director’s Credentials.
At our school, we strive to create a safe, warm, and loving environment and to be the best program possible for all children, parents, and teachers we encounter. To help us achieve our goal of being the top Early Education provider in Lexington we are excited to offer a compilation of great curriculum components that include High Reach, Gospel Light, Spanish, Zoophonics, Time to Sign, social skills, and etiquette.
What I love most about being the director here is having the opportunity to touch so many children’s lives and have a positive impact on the families we serve. What we do each day will lay the foundation for the children and their success throughout life.
