At Christ the King Roman Catholic School, our mission is to develop contributing citizens, guided by Catholic social teaching, who are compassionate critical thinkers and effective communicators in service to the Gospel. The three principles used to achieve this mission are Religion, Respect and Responsibility.
The school, which began instruction on September 6, 1949, provides a Catholic learning environment that emphasizes the religious aspects of the Catholic faith, promotes academic excellence, fosters mutual respect, develops personal and social responsibility, and encourages self-growth. CK is both a Catholic and a neighborhood school, which welcomes students of any creed, ethnicity, gender, nationality, or race.
