Pre School Description

Our goal is to have all the children who attend our center, to have a fun day where they learn and play and make new friends. We want your child to feel comfortable and safe while building respect, responsibility and confidence. We do not discriminate upon any gender, race, or disability. We will provide them with love and attention, along with fun daily activities to help them learn and grow.
We hope to teach the children to respect themselves and each other. We believe all children should have a safe and happy environment. We dont allow hitting, biting, yelling, or name calling at any time. Children will be encouraged through positive reinforcement to be nice to their friends as well as respect adults. We will encourage all children to treat their friends and teachers with respect. We provide a daily structured program with an emphasis on creative art.
We also work on getting ready for school through my morning preschool program. Our program has a daily craft, songs, stories, circle time and so much more. Other activities are theme based handouts that we use hands on techniques like sorting for math, letters, and A LOT of READING.
We enjoy being outside. If weather is acceptable we will be outside often. However, acceptable is not too limited. We love the outdoors and will play in the rain, snow, or shine. As long as children are safe and warm, we will be outside!! We have at least 35-40 children here each day, so you will probably walk in on little messes throughout the day. Activities are a huge part of each day and some of them can be messy (such as painting).
We try to keep things picked up but, the care of the children comes first and then the chores. We try to encourage the kids to help keep their toys picked up when they are done playing. We encourage children to help out during meal times by being responsible for their own dishes. The children respond well to this, as parents continually tell us they help out more at home due to this.
Christines little Athletes has an open door policy. If at ANY time you would like to check us out or even stop by to see your child you may do this at any time during the hours we are open. We are open from 6:15-8:00pm. We sure hope you will come check us out. Im positive you will be impressed with our beliefs and procedures. The whole team here is positive, laid back, fun, energetic, educated, and love their jobs. We like to think of our childcare as an extension of home as well as a support system for our parents.
