Coconut Grove Montessori School believes that children are individuals with different needs interests and abilities therefore we are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where the children are respected and permitted to advance at their own natural rate of development.
Each learning area is designed to help the child grow at their own pace and lessons are matched to each child's individual progress allowing the child to gain self confidence as well as academic achievement.
Coconut Grove Montessori School is affiliated with the American Montessori Society (AMS). AMS is the educational membership organization of Montessori Schools in the United States and the largest Montessori organization in the world. AMS advocates quality Montessori education provides leadership and empowers schools with supporting services. As a full member affiliate of this organization our school is committed to advancing the principles and practices that encourage better outcomes for children by ensuring that our staff and program meet the professional requirements necessary to be a part of the AMS.
