Located in the town of Reidsville in Rockingham County in north central Piedmont North Carolina, Community Baptist School was founded and began its first year of service in the Fall of 1972 under the leadership of the Pastor and members of Community Baptist Church.
HISTORY
The school began with fifty students in kindergarten and first grade as a protest to the secular philosophy promulgated by the public school system and as a special ministry for families to help meet the spiritual and academic needs of the children of Community Baptist Church and the surrounding area. The school is the oldest and largest in Rockingham County and offers traditional classes kindergarten through high school with before and after school care. The school verse is Romans 8:37 which provides the basis for the school mascot, the Conqueror.
