Preschool Philosophy

Bethany Daycare & Preschool facilitates learning for infants ages 6 weeks through 12 months with pictures music reading time tummy/exercise time and play time. Scheduled diapering feeding and sleeping times are included in our day. Our toddlers ages 12 months through 24 months learn through sensory time singing reading time group activities and lots of play.

Bethany Early Learning Ministry currently uses curriculum that engages children ages 2 through 5 with a multi-sensory approach. Our curriculum provides a balance of activities that complement each other building layers of learning and discovery. We use a theme based curriculum which encourages children to think listen interact and imagine. Bethany Early Learning Ministry also includes the use of Learning Centers in our curriculum. These centers include letters numbers colors sequencing sorting singing story/reading time art and dramatic play. We encourage children to discover and interact at their own pace while encouraging them to experience new activities.

The children of Bethany Early Learning Ministry are introduced to music, songs, stories, customs and foods from the many varied cultures which comprise our Childcare Center. Relevant cultural holidays are joyfully celebrated. Our program recognizes the needs and celebrates the differences of each individual child. It is our goal that each child and family feel included and respected within our school.
