Child Development Center Philosophy

AlphaBEST Education Inc. designs and operates academically focused extended day programs that offer opportunities for elementary school students to learn develop explore and have fun beyond the normal school day in a safe educational environment.
AFTER SCHOOL AT SCHOOL
By housing extended day programs on school premises we provide a seamless connection between AlphaBEST and the regular day school program.
HANDS-ON LEARNING
In addition to providing supervision snacks and individualized help with homework our curriculum engages kids' hearts and minds by creating opportunities for active hands-on learning - the kind kids like best! Students work together in small groups (6-8 pupils per one instructor) on stimulating activities designed to actively engage them.
FUN BALANCED CURRICULUM
Designed around research-based learning strategies our curriculum is literature-based not remedial or tutorial. It balances academics and enrichment activities to allow children to discover new things about the world around them every day. Aligned with national standards our curriculum is customized by state to correlate with individual state standards.
HIGHLY QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS
Because we actively recruit highly qualified teachers our instructors know what kinds of information children are learning in school what they are expected to know and ways to connect academic content with after-school activities and projects. And we utilize appropriate student to staff ratios guaranteeing students a great deal of direct contact with caring teachers.
CUSTOMIZED TURNKEY OPERATIONS
Our programs are customized to meet the unique needs of individual schools and districts. While the programs at each of our sites reflect AlphaBEST's core elements each is as unique as the community it serves. AlphaBEST assumes full operational and administrative responsibility for the extended day program.
SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATION SERVICES (SES)
In addition to providing enriching extended day child care AlphaBEST is also an approved provider of supplemental education services. By offering tutoring to eligible children we help you assist struggling learners address achievement gaps and move your school toward improvement.
