Pre School Philosophy

Early childhood is a precious and almost magical stage of life in every young childs life.

It is our belief that each child is a unique individual with his/hers own special needs and background and should be recognized as someone special. In order for the child to grow and learn he/she must first feel safe in an environment that is encouraging nurturing supportive and challenging.

Based on the theory that children learn through play classroom routines encourage active involvement meaningful experimentation and reinforcement through repetition. Schedules are designed which balance structure as well active and quiet times. While being prepared for the independence of attending school and mastering socialization skills the children learn about our Catholic faith through weekly Liturgy of the Word attendance morning prayer and the various Liturgical events throughout the year. We offer center based classrooms as well as computers in every classroom circle time dramatic play areas age appropriate manipulative an age appropriate playgrounds and age appropriate curriculums. Schedules are designed which balance structure as well as active and quiet times.
