Prek Philosophy

Three and four year olds have a natural curiosity and zest for learning. Our curriculums foster this innate curiosity as children grow and learn in a nurturing Christian environment.

In our Pre-Kindergarten classes our teachers use the Saxon Early Learning curriculum. It is a completely integrated thematic curriculum that covers areas of language and early literacy development math science social studies and art. This integrated curriculum is introduced through a variety of multi-sensory hands-on learning activities. Beautifully illustrated original stories and favorite childhood classics are also included along with science and math manipulatives.

In our Preschool 3 classes our students study thematic units throughout the year. These units integrate science through experiments social studies art and early literacy skills. Phonemic awareness letter and number recognition and counting is introduced through Frog Street Press Sing and Read Alphabet and Number series which uses brightly colored illustrations alliteration and familiar tunes to remember the letters and numbers. Color and shape recognition is also integrated into the curriculum.
