Pre School Philosophy

Programs of CCD are offered on a non-discriminatory basis affording equal treatment and access to services without regard to sex sexual orientation gender ethnic group identification race ancestry national origin religion color or mental or physical disability. Children with disabilities or other special needs as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are welcomed into the program and reasonable accommodations are made as necessary and appropriate. As mandated by State Department of Education guidelines the programs of CCD do not include religious instruction. Each child is accepted into the program at his or her current developmental level. Children have the opportunity to work independently as well as with other children and adults. Children plan create study play problem-solve and generally participate in a wide variety of developmentally appropriate experiences and activities guided by well-trained staff. Children are encouraged to meet both large and small challenges with confidence and competence.
