Preschool Philosophy

It is our goal that with the help of loving well-qualified teachers in our warm carefully prepared environment our students can grow and learn English and Spanish with joy and self-confidence. We believe that a child who is secure as an individual will be a happy child and a happy child is open to learning in any language.

The idea at Green Hills is to get kids started as soon as possible not only so that they will become fluent in both languages but to develop an enjoyment for learning that will benefit them for a lifetime. We teach essential reading writing math science language and social skills in a well structured yet always fun manner that our students respond to enthusiastically.

Green Hills is not a daycare center but an academic institution with a clearly articulated curriculum. Children aged 2 to 5 have an almost unbelievable capacity and desire for learning to waste that potential with common filler activities such as nap time or TV watching just to keep the children entertained until its time to go home as so many day-care centers do is a shame.
