Pre School Philosophy

We recognize the years between three and six to be among the most crucial in the formation of a child's ability and desire to master new skills; cognitively socially and physically. In addition we believe children of this age have spiritual needs which must be met. Our program is designed to foster the child's natural inclinations at this stage to explore ask questions talk with others and to be independent. We recognize individual differences and strive to help the child feel success and self-worth. We provide activities which are designed to improve physical coordination language skills academic readiness the "social graces" and foster creativity. We are a Christian preschool. We believe in a living God we say short prayers at snack and group times. Our songs stories and dramatic play will be of a spiritual nature. Chapel talks are scheduled weekly and parents are encouraged to attend. Our objective is to provide a happy Christian environment in which the whole child may grow. If God is to be in our living then He must be in our learning.
