Prek Philosophy

Blossoming Brilliance Preschool and Early Learning Center is a Reggio Emilia inspired High/Scope Program. We believe project based learning is essential in developing deep, meaningful connections in children’s learning. We believe, and science shows us, children learn best when their sensory, emotional and social needs are met first. We believe children crave routine, as provided by our High/Scope program; and children are successful with a balance of small, large and individual groupings, child and teacher led activities, and indoor and outdoor learning environments. We believe each child is a steward of our world, and should be cultivated to appreciate and care for the natural world around us. Lastly, we believe all children should be offered a range of opportunities such as music, movement, dance, foreign language, yoga, etc. in order to have well rounded children and a complete curriculum.
