Pre School Description

Due West Academy is devoted to providing an active learning environment for each of our unique students. It is our goal to ensure that each of our students are socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively prepared for success. Our program helps children become self- confident, independent, enthusiastic learners. Children participating in our program are encouraged to develop good habits and daily routines that facilitate learning.
We implement child-centered instruction in every classroom throughout our curriculum. This is based on the interest and the skill levels of each child. Child-center instruction allows teachers to facilitate learning in a rich environment that fosters childrens initiative, exploration, and collaborative interaction with other children and adults.
Our teachers take advantage of every teachable moment. We believe that children learn through play and having experiences. It is our ambition to create many diverse experiences for our students. By creating experiences and encouraging students to explore and explain ideas we are allowing them to think for themselves and become self-confident, self-thinking, independent learners.
