Preschool Description

Edgewood Preprimary Academy has advocated a balanced early learning program throughout 50 years of providing excellence in Education. We admit children between the ages of 2 and 6 years for our pre-primary and kindergarten programs.
The original school was opened in the fall of 1959, on Grand Avenue, in Santa Ana. In 1969, Mrs Krull purchased the small school of 91 students, pre-primary through grade 5. In 1971, Mrs. Krull built and opened a second campus on Newport Avenue in Tustin, for grades K-8. Under Mrs. Krull's direction, Edgewood grew to accommodate over 600 students in pre-primary through grade 8. We gained a far-reaching reputation for superior education, and received accreditation through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
In March of 1998, Mrs. Krull sold Edgewood Private School (the elementary portion) to Fairmont Private Schools. She retains and continues to direct the Edgewood PrePrimary Academy, which consists of preprimary and kindergarten. Edgewood PrePrimary Academy is now beginning our second 50 years of continuing a "Quest for Excellence" in early childhood education.
