Prek Description
The First Baptist Child Development Center was formed as an outreach of the church to the community. It has been in operation since 1970. It has grown from a handful of children to the thriving center that it is today.
The First Baptist Child Development Center offers care for children 6 weeks through school age. Our 2,3 and 4/5 year old preschool classrooms are arranged with interest centers and are designed to foster all aspects of a child's development. These classrooms work to help children build school readiness skills and to prepare them for the kindergarten transition. Our Infant toddler program provides children with a variety of experiences that will nurture and develop them emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually. All of our classrooms use a curriculum that is Christian based to help teach the children about God's love.
We enjoy a well equipped, fenced in playground with a special area for children under 2 years of age. We are licensed by the state and are regularly inspected by the local health and fire departments.
