Prek Description
The FHJC Nursery School and Kindergarten is the only nursery school in the Metropolitan Region to be the recipient of awards from the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism for eight consecutive years. These educational programs are guided by a curriculum that is developmentally and age-appropriate helping each child achieve mastery in social physical emotional and cognitive growth at his or her own pace.
The Jewish component is woven into all aspects of the school. The celebration of Shabbat and holidays and the love of Israel are taught in a way children enjoy through stories songs cooking crafts and puppets. The goal is for the children to feel the joy of being Jewish. Families are encouraged to participate in Shabbat services and holiday celebrations at the school. Nursery School children have the opportunity to attend their own "Kids Kongregation" on Shabbat morning with their parents.
