Preschool Description

In January of 2009 our family began to entwine our inspirations and talents into the reality of a school that would provide a community where children could develop to their full potential. Four Seasons Community School is a natural and organic place of learning. We believe that each child has a unique method of discovering the world and that diversity in the learning processes promotes a rounded experience as well as a respectful understanding of differences. By providing our students with a balance of guidance and freedom we encourage them to become confident thinkers in language math and science with a focus on outdoor exploration. Because all of these areas activate independent and creative responses we offer an intensive fine arts program allowing expression in music movement the performing arts and visual arts. This school is a qualified provider of the licensed Music Together Preschool program. We have a background in the Montessori method and we have been overcome by the research we have found in the "Tools of the Mind" program. Because our strongest passion lies in what brings the most success to the children our goal is to become the first "Tools of the Mind" facility in Austin.
