TRANSPORTATION - PRESCHOOL - FOOD SERVICE
Since 1965 Head Start has offered safe consistent preschool services for children ages three and four. Following these experiences children are more confident and eager to enter kindergarten.
Children learn through experience. In addition to math reading science and art skills Head Start students are taught about cooperation problem solving and responsibility.
When your child enters the Head Start program we perform a number of health and development screens including vision and hearing tests and then create an individual performance plan. We use this plan to track your child's health and progress in the classroom three times per year.
