Pre School Description

we strive for excellence. It is my belief that we have developed not just a learning community, but a family where a sense of belonging is evident through the mutual respect demonstrated between colleagues, students, and families. I am proud to be the principal of Violette Elementary. I am very proud of our teachers, support staff, students and families. Our teachers and support staff work hard, and they are dedicated to increasing achievement and learning for all students.
As a school and community, we strive to work together because we believe that as a team we can achieve a great deal more. Your support and involvement counts! We need your on-going support to help students achieve to their greatest potential. Please share your time, ideas and suggestions with the school. By working together, we can make Violette School a great place to be to learn and grow.
On behalf of the teachers and staff, I would like to thank you for all of your support we receive from you at home. You really do make a difference in the overall success of the school and your childs education. Without your support and help, we (and your students) could not continue to make significant progress. Please continue to spend time helping your child with homework, and remember to make reading together a daily family activity. The school also gains from your volunteer efforts at the school. Please let us know if you have time and interest in being a parent volunteer.
This year, we will continue to work strategically to strengthen our standards-based instruction. Teachers have created classroom learning environments where the state standards are emphasized and students participate in engaging learning activities. Teachers attend professional development workshops throughout the year to increase their knowledge and ability to implement research-based instructional strategies.
Our goal is to continually increase student achievement. Along with quality instruction during the day, we provide targeted intervention and enrichment opportunities for our students. We believe all students can learn. We hope you see this progress not only in our school's test scores, but in the daily lives of your children. at Violette, your child will have fun and experience many exciting learning activities and, he/she will be challenged to reach their personal best.
