Genesis House Day Care provides for the health and welfare of children (ages birth to 12-years-old) accompanying parents who participate in the residential substance abuse program. Genesis House delivers services for the care, protection, and treatment of children who are at risk of abuse, neglect, and eventual substance abuse.
Genesis House provides parents with education in using positive parenting techniques. Our therapeutic childcare program provides children with play therapy, developmental assessment, behavior modification, individual counseling, family counseling, self-esteem building and family intervention. Parents are the primary caretakers of their children. However, the children spend approximately eight hours per day, five days a week in our therapeutic daycare with licensed childcare staff.
