Preschool Description

Glanton Elementary School Preschool was opened in 2004. The schools first principal Carole Criswell retired this year. Katie Garrett is the schools new principal in the 2008-09 school year. The School Board renamed the Grantville Elementary School Preschool Glanton Elementary School Preschool, after long-time Grantville principal Thomas Glanton. Grantvilles former Elementary School Preschool now Grantvilles Municipal Center bore Glantons name in honor of his years of service to education in the city and county. The city building still bears his name, but the Boards action makes Grantvilles school Glanton once again as well.
