It is hard to believe how fast a year goes, and how much the children change. At the beginning of the school year, all the children are measured, and now again at the end some have grown as much as two inches!
The children also draw a picture of their family at the beginning of the school year, and again at the end of the year. It is so interesting to see how their fine-motor skills and eye-hand coordination have changed over the course of 9 months some of their families changed too this year weve had 4 families expand by one and we are waiting for two more little ones yet to come. The children all write their names during their first week at school, and we save those to compare side by side with their skill at writing their name now. Their parents will get to take all those items home during the last day scavenger hunt.
Well be gardening this summer thanks to Mr. Kevin Sielaff, Mr. Lindner from Ace Hardware, Mr. Seiler from Seiler Construction and Jerry Krueger from Lakeshore Landscaping for making that all happen. Well be tending the garden, watering, weeding, harvesting, and hopefully enjoying the fruits of our labors.
