Preschool Description

Joyful warm and safe place - that is what the Happy Children Center is all about! Our goal is to create a warm environment for children from infant to school age one where they feel happy and comfortable. And not only does Happy Child Children's Center take care of our children but we teach them! The children here learn grow and have fun!

Motto:
We strive to meet individual needs within the framework of age-appropriate goals. Our desire is to have an atmosphere of warmth and safety thus creating a joyful place for children to grow and learn.
Meals:
Breakfast lunch and PM snacks are served each day in your child's classroom. They are FREE!! Breakfast is served at 8:00am-8:30am. If your child will be running late please call if you would like us to hold breakfast for them. Lunch for 18 months to 3 years old will be served from 11:10am-11:45am for 3-6 years between 11:50am-12:45pm with milk. The children are served PM snacks with water milk or juice after naptime at 3:15pm-3:30pm. The children are encouraged to try everything on their plate. If all of their food is eaten they are allowed seconds if they desire. Children are not forced to eat anything. Menus are posted at the beginning of the week.
Activities/Outdoor Play:
The morning hours consist of structured pre-school activities with our teaching staff. Outdoor playtime is included as well. The afternoon hours include rest time (don't forget your nap mat!) art free play and more outdoor play. The Happy Child Children Center encourages children to learn and grow. In our teachings we include computer learning skills life skills games stories and art activities. The Center will send home weekly letters to review what has been studied as well as the parents know what classroom activities and lessons will be for the upcoming week.
Water Activities:
The only water activities at Happy Child Children Center will be at the school on a Splash Day which will consist of a water sprinkler run-through. The day of the water activity will be posted at the center before they are carried out.
Parties:
Birthdays are exciting times for children and us at Happy Child Children Center! Please make arrangements with the teachers in advance to celebrate your child's birthday with classmates. At Christmas Valentine's Day and Easter we will conduct classroom parties for the children. At Thanksgiving we hold a Thanksgiving Feast for all parents children and staff.
We also accept cash and money orders as a method of payment.
