Pre School Description

This web site is dedicated to the Childrens Music School Happy Notes.
The school was established in 2005 on the basis of the Childrens Choir Lomir Zingen which was founded 10 years ago.
While attending the school, the children study Russian language and literature, get acquainted with the treasures of Russian music, art and theatre, play various musical instruments, participate in theatre productions and perform in choral music concerts. at the same time, they become socially adapted individuals with high self-esteem and ability to approach any task creatively.
The school accepts children ages 4 to 12. Children participating in the schools activities are also involved in the childrens choir where they receive instruction in breathing, articulation, as well as rehearse vocal music numbers. Children are also offered instruction in various musical instruments, such as piano, violin and guitar.
Russian language and literature classes introduce our young students to the great masterpieces by Russian writers and poets; while music literature classes acquaint the children with classical music masterworks. During theatrical performance rehearsals students develop acting and stage movement skills, learn to interact and work in groups, as well as develop creativity and imagination.
Classes take place on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. Every Saturday course consists of four lessons, 45 minutes each, with a short break.
The children are divided into three age groups, each consisting of no more than 10 children. This allows for both, individual instruction and team work.
