High Point Academys mission is to provide a strong foundation of academic excellence in partnership with family and community in which each individual is challenged to achieve his/her highest potential academically, socially, and personally.
High Point Academy was founded in 2006 by a group of parents and local business, civic, and educational leaders. The founders sought to create a school focused not only on high academic standards, but also on character education, community involvement, technology, language, and wellness.
