Huntington Point Child Development Center opened in 1994 with local ownership continuing today. The school is in its own building, having six separate classrooms. We have individual rooms for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarten, and before and after school. There is an outdoor playground, attached, and contained within a tall, locked fence.
Our Senior Staff have been with us for at least 10 years and have degrees. The school is open 52 weeks from 7:00AM to 6:00PM, does not close for vacation, and rarely for snow. In addition to our excellent staff and homelike building, our programs represent the latest in child development practice. Our building is fully heated and air conditioned, with multiple zones for the health and comfort of your child year-round. Our location is ideal, at the intersection of Route 8 (exit 11) and Bridgeport Ave. and Huntington St. Just one mile from the Merrit Parkway (exit 52). Without exception, all our children enter school well prepared. Our security is very important to us. All doors are locked and only staff will allow parents to enter.
