Welcome to the Ashkar Elementary School. We are looking forward to providing a very positive experience for your child while offering them the best education possible. During the school year the Ashkar Staff will be providing them with many opportunities to grow socially emotionally as well as academically. At Ashkar the students will have the opportunity to join a variety of clubs that will stretch their minds and creativity. We believe that in order for children to develop respect for themselves others and their school they need to take ownership and responsibility for themselves. Ownership takes on many different shapes and forms. The students are responsible for running a School Store Digital Kids Club members are in charge of the yearbook Star Reporter create a bi-weekly newsletter Ashkar Anchors are responsible for daily morning announcements and the Box Top Gang is responsible for collection and distribution of this fund-raiser Student Volunteers help out in classrooms and Big Buddies assist younger students who are in need of extra help.
