Preschool Description

As a mission of the Kaneville United Methodist Church, the Kaneville Community Child Center provides safe, loving, and creative care in a Christian atmosphere to the preschool and school age children of the Congregation and surrounding communities. The Center serves all children in a developmentally appropriate play-based curriculum in partnership with their families, community, and the Church, the program provides for the social, intellectual, spiritual, emotional and physical development of each child.
It is the purpose of the Kaneville Community Child Center (KCCC) to provide a safe, secure environment for children while they are away from their parents or guardians. It is our policy to meet or exceed all state and community licensing requirements with regard to fire, safety, weather emergency precautions, health and sanitation.
Each staff member undergoes a complete background inquiry of personal, educational, and employment history. Staff performance is evaluated on a basis of care and teaching of children. at all times our adult to child ratio will exceed required standards.
A Board comprised of church and community members and parents administers the program at Kaneville Community Child Center. In setting policies, this board continually seeks to provide a ministry to the whole child, meeting his or her physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs.
