Preschool Description

Kids in Discovery Preschool was established in the Fall of 1992.
We are licensed by the State of Virginia.
We offer 2-day, 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day classes.
Our classes meet from 9:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m
We offer an Early Morning Drop-Off Program beginning at 8:30 a.m.
All of our staff members are certified in CPR and First Aid, and all participate in continuing education.
We follow Henrico County Public Schools calendar.
We have an Extended Day Program. (Lunch Bunch- 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.)
We offer Enrichment Thursdays from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
We have an extensive library and a librarian who visits with our students each week. Our Pre-K students check out library books every week.
We have weekly "Special Moments".
We have a robust music program in which our students learn about music through movement, dancing, singing, and using manipulatives like rhythm sticks and beanbags, and through the playing of various musical instruments.
We have an amazing playground that our students LOVE!
