One of three elementary schools in the South Lake district Koepsell Education Center opened in 1996. It is a School of Choice that follows the South Lake Schools curriculum but uses a different methodology the teachings of William Glassers "Choice Theory" and a multiage configuration. Both philosophies are based on the importance of building meaningful relationships among students teachers and staff.
