Preschool Description

We are a year-round Montessori School for children from 1 5. Our curriculum includes kindergarten level instruction. Established in 2006, we are located just minutes from Downtown Vancouver. Each month, we focus on the cultures and ecological systems of different continents. We invite artists and scientists to share with the students, enhancing their connection to the world. We also learn languages that go with each continent. At any given time, we may be learning Spanish, Japanese or Chinese
Music First, Kinder Music
Our weekly music teacher brings a wealth of instrumental and classical music instruction. She brings a wide collection of multicultural instruments and integrates them into our monthly theme. This is included in tuition.
After Care and Before Care
Available at a monthly rate or hourly rate. Activities include: the Montessori environment, indoor recess, outdoor play, art, physical fitness, invention day and challenge the teachers.
We offer weekly dance classes after school. (extra individual expense, $25.00 per month).
Director and Teacher Katrina Woermann,M.Ed. is AMI certified and comes with 30 years Montessori experience (Ages 0 18).
About Katrina
I am an artist, mother, and outdoor enthusiast. My children are 21, 19, 15, and 13. I just retired my horse at 26 years and spend winters on Mt. Hood boarding and skiing. Summers are full of white water, wilderness, and the ocean. I bring my excitement for life and learning to children year after year. One of the things I like most about Montessori is that it allows me to establish relationships with children and their parents that are forever in my heart.
