Lighthouse Learning Center is Family owned and Operated! The Prader family of Waterloo built the Columbia Lighthouse in 1997. Mary Kay Prader, RN and David Prader have expanded to include centers in Columbia, Freeburg, Waterloo, Cahokia and 5 area public schools including Waterloo Rogers and Zahnow, Dupo and Freeburg Elementary schools. We offer full and part time child care for School Age children year round at the centers and at the Schools.
Our teachers are passionate about your child's happiness and education, and provide a safe, nurturing environment that cultivates self-esteem and independence. Our teachers are dedicated to developing your child's learning potential and are sensitive to your child's individual needs. In addition to our own high standards, ALL of our centers are Nationally Accredited Centers.
Our teacher-to-child ratios allow teachers to focus on the individual learning styles and needs of each child in our center.
