Pre School Description

The Early Learning Center offers programs for children ages 2 months through 5 years in a state-of-the-art facility specifically designed for each age group. Our early childhood professionals guide children through a developmentally appropriate curriculum that is based on their abilities and interests bringing their world alive through exploration and play.
Our Infant program provides a nurturing and supportive experience utilizing personal care plans based on your babys individual needs. Babies are cared for in a sensory rich environment that encourages a childs natural curiosity to absorb the world around them. Close attention is placed on the development of receptive (understanding words) and expressive (using words) language, eye-hand coordination and gross motor skills. Our caregivers celebrate milestones with a close parent-teacher partnership as infants thrive and grow.
Toddler and Transitional Preschool children receive guidance throughout the day as they navigate social situations, investigate cause and effect relationships, and build on essential early language and motor skills. Children learn through play in centers designed to offer them the option to make decisions, creating a sense of independence and willingness to explore.
Preschoolers use their curiosity and imagination to become creative thinkers. As active learners, they work on increasing the mastery of peer interaction and cooperative play. A positive self-image is developed as children begin to become proficient in the areas of cognitive and physical development. Learning Centers rich with materials enhance the curriculum themes encouraging children to use their innate sense of exploration as they further investigate their interests.
Our robust curriculum in our Kindergarten Readiness program prepares children to become independent learners and develop self-confidence for sharing in a classroom setting. Through curriculum themes based on the interests of older children we focus on the areas of pre-reading, math and science skill development. Children are immersed in social interactions with peers and adults, giving them the tools they need to succeed in and out of the school environment.
Children enrolled in our programs also have the opportunity for enrichment in swimming, gymnastics, sports, fitness, dance, music, rock wall and outdoor play. We are committed to the physical well being of all our children and provide weekly activities based on age and developmental levels. These enrichment activities are included in the weekly tuition.
Our Early Learning Center is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. We are also accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). This recognition is a mark of highest quality standard in the field of Early Education across the United States.
