Child Care Center Description

The program assists families by providing quality and affordable child care services for children ages 5 to 13 years old between the hours of 2:45pm to 6:00 pm, when school is in session. Full-day services are provided between 7:00am 6:00pm Monday-Friday on non-attendance school days.
Our goals for our children and families are to provide a safe environment where our children have the opportunity to engage in healthy social interaction and enhance developmental skills through arts and crafts, sewing, sports, and educational field trips, nutrition classes, food experiences, African dance, drama, and etiquette. We value the importance of strengthening academic functioning; therefore, we provide daily tutoring in one-on-one and group sessions.
The school age program also provides a stage for the children to showcase their vocal and performing artistic abilities through the Newberry Childrens Choir which is nationally known. This program is an asset not only to our children but their families and the community at large.
