Pre School Description

Welcome to MUMCs Preschool, Kids Club, and Parents Time Out. We are excited to offer these ministry opportunities for the children of our community and surrounding areas.
Preschool We offer classes for 3, 4, and 5 year old children. The 3 year old program is offered Tuesday and Thursday or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 9:00-11:30 or 12:30-3:00. The 4 year old program meets Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Monday through Friday from 9:00-11:30 or 12:30-3:00. The 5 year old program is Monday through Friday from 9:00-12:30.
Kids Club/Parents Time Out (PTO) Kids Club provides before and after school care for children Preschool through Middle School Monday through Friday from 7:00-6:00. Parents Time Out is a one day a week program for children ages 6 months to 3 years old. Children ages 6 months to 2 years old meet Tuesday or Wednesday from 9:00-12:00. Children 2 and 3 years old meet Monday through Thursday from 9:00-1:00.
Middletown United Methodist Church Preschool is dedicated to providing an environment which meets the cognitive, social, and emotional needs of each child in an atmosphere in which they can grow, work, and play together. It is through social interaction that children develop life long learning skills while being surrounded by Gods love.
Our vision is to educate young children in an atmosphere that surrounds them with acceptance, helps them begin their spiritual journey of growing in their love of God, others, and self.
Our Preschool focuses on the areas of Spiritual Growth, Academic Growth, and Social Growth for each child. Students will learn Bible verses, sing songs, and hear Bible stories as they learn that everyone is a child of God. Our readiness program helps the student grow academically through hands-on activities, games, stories, music, and creative expression. As these preschool years are essential for your childs social growth, our program will help them enhance these skills by encouraging your child to feel good about him/ herself and to participate in group activities.
Kids Club/PTO
Our Kids Club and Parents Time out (PTO) programs have been designed to provide socialization time for children in a positive and loving environment, while giving parents the time they need for work and other appointments.
Kids Club at MUMC offers before and after school care for children enrolled in Preschool through Middle School.
Parents Time Out is a one day a week program for children ages 6 months to 3 years old.
