Pre School Description

The mission of the Montessori School of North Miami is to plant the seeds of discovery and exploration that will enable children to educate themselves throughout their lifetime; as well as to teach understanding and respect for racial cultural and linguistic diversity.
This can only be accomplished through a dual language education immersion program for all students which emphasize the acquisition of a second language high academic standards cooperation with others and the appreciation of each individual's uniqueness.
The Montessori School of North Miami helps the child develop within himself the foundational habits attitudes skills and ideas. Our goals for the child are:
To develop a positive attitude toward school and learning.
To develop a sense of high self-esteem.
To establish a habit of concentration for lifelong study skills.
To develop and foster curiosity.
To acquire the basic skills necessary for a lifetime of learning.
